About me

I am a professionally qualified psychotherapist and counsellor with many years’ experience with working with individuals in private practice. I have been in practice since 1998. I am qualified to work with many kinds of emotional difficulties.

I studied at the Minster Centre, one of the leading counselling and psychotherapy organisations in the UK, where I obtained an MA in Integrated Psychotherapy, a programme validated by Middlesex University and accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I also have a Diploma in Counselling from Oxford Brookes University and a Royal Society of Health (RSH) Certificate in Counselling from Salisbury College.

I am a registered member of BACP and subscribe to its Code of Ethics and Practice. I receive regular supervision where my work is presented anonymously.

I have extensive experience of working with people in times of trauma and stress. I have worked with people with depression, relationship issues, anger and grief. I have worked in hospitals and for the mental health charity, MIND. I also work part-time in a prison.
